Thrift Store/Furniture Sales

Thrift Shop

The largest monthly contributor to the Brother Benno Foundation is the Thrift Shop. This revenue covers the daily expenses of the Center, including administrative costs. It also provides income for many of our services.

The thrift shop sells new and gently used items at low prices everyone can afford. These items include: clothing for the whole family, household goods, shoes, collectables, purses, books, movies, jewelry and sometimes designer clothing in the boutique. They also carry a large selection of gently used furniture at very affordable prices.

Location: 3955 Mission Avenue, Oceanside (on Mission between Douglas and Rancho Del Oro). Phone 760-967-7505

Days and times: Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Closed on Sundays)

Donations are accepted Monday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm, at the donation truck located outside the front of the store.

We're sorry that we are unable to provide pick-up service, with the exception of gently used furniture.

The Thrift Store sends out email updates, a couple times a week, announcing our special sales for the day. Sign up below to be added to our Thrift Store specials mailing list.

Furniture Sales

Items range from basic household furniture at very affordable prices, to estate liquidation items that include antiques and collectibles. You never know what types of treasures you’ll find, as the inventory is always changing.

Donations: If you’d like to donate gently used, saleable furniture or accessories, you can drop them off at the Center Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you live in the North County Coastal area, and need to have your items picked up, please call 760-439-1244, ext. 115.

Important: Brother Benno’s does not have the resources to repair damaged or worn furniture, so only those items that are immediately saleable can be accepted. We thank you for your understanding.
