Based on wildly successful auctions from the past, this year’s Silent Auction be both an online and in person event providing Brother Benno supporters who can’t participate in the tournament an opportunity to bid on top surf and golf equipment, celebrity collectables, and other valuable items donated by local and regional businesses.

Annual Brother Benno's Charity Golf Tournament raises funds for the Brother Benno Foundation's programs and services.
Celebrating our 41st year, what began in 1983 as a soup kitchen, has expanded to providing both essential and extended support services to the most vulnerable in North San Diego County.
This year’s Charity Golf Tournament will be held Wednesday, September 18, at Oceanside’s Goat Hill Park.
Kelly Slater, eleven-time world champion surfer, will be supporting this year's event. The day will be captured by award-winning photographer Todd Glaser.
We hope to build on last year’s tournament’s success, including participation from former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and the 2000 Pipeline masters surfing champion, Rob Machado.
We expect many local athletes and regional businesses who supported us in 2023 to return as sponsors and underwriters to help us create another fun-filled day, including golfing opportunities, lunch, dinner, and music.
Brother Benno's Annual Charity Golf Tournament is our only major fundraiser. Your participation as a Sponsor, a participant, or a donor will make a life-supporting difference for the most vulnerable in North San Diego County.

Silent and Live Auctions will be a part of this year’s tournament.

For this year's live auction, we’re excited to bring back a chance to win a Kelly Slater’s Wave Company "Night & Day" Surf Ranch Experience for the winner and 11 of his/her guests. This experience includes
- Coaching on the surf day
- Food & beverage (Healthy, farm-to-table organic cuisine made-to-order. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits)
- Overnight, On-site Accommodations - Luxury Airstream trailer or luxury cabin
- Video of every wave surfed
- Quiver of Firewire boards & Rip Curl Wetsuits available for use, and
- A loaner from BMW Carlsbad to get the winner to and from Surf Ranch
This year, an anonymous Brother Benno supporter will match, up to an amazing, $150,000, the winning bid for this unique Surf Ranch Experience!
Pre-Tournament VIP Shopping Event Benefiting Brother Benno's
Title Sponsor, Outerknown is hosting a VIP shopping event at their Carlsbad Forum store. 25% of the sales go to the Brother Benno Foundation. This event is open to all Brother Benno supporters and tournament participants.
